This is not a destination that anyone can get to but our family .... Sorry!!  LOL .... but I have to share some of these because it really is the adventure you make, and this is literally a ..... Backyard Expedition!

On this May afternoon, I went outside with the kids, with gloves (we were weeding) and magnifying glasses.  The kids had a blast and we happened to find a snail!! The kids had never seen a snail up close, and you are more likely to find a banana slug then a snail.  So it was fun....

I never have considered myself a "City Girl" considering I am from WI and I grew up around farms and lived out in the middle of no where ...  BUT ...  at times like this, I certainly feel like a "City Girl" because this is the first time I ever think I saw a snail up close and personal.... along with all the kids too...  so it was definitely an experience!

We found this awesome snail we named Harvey Snaily (Snaily was last name via Noah)

Is it just me, or does this snail kinda resemble an angry old man?

Calahan was like....  "I see your snail, and raise you a worm!"  .... only a worm is definitely not as cool as a snail!

Blowing on a Pinwheel .....

BOY DOWN!!!  I REPEAT BOY DOWN!!!!!

BLOW ON IT MOMMA!!!!  Make it spin!!!

COST:  Free

* Note *  This is no longer what the park playground looks like.  It is now set up with new equipment that is "all abilities accessible" and it's glorious!

We moved to Washington State in 2010 and we ended up living in a house on the water which was literally a block away from Evergreen Park. It was really nice being so close to the park.  Especially with little kids that needed to run off extra energy ...

COST: FREE unless you need food (or other items there) ....

Most people wouldn't think that going to a grocery store would be an amazing experience.... but up to this point, I had only ever been to cookie cutter grocery stores, and this one was (is) another level completely!!!

At this point in my life, I had been spoiled for about 4 years of my husband's cooking.  Which - let me tell you ... it's AMAZING to have home cooked food that wasn't out of a box or a wrapper ...

So when I walked into the Produce, it was like..... angles signing.....

They have live seafood, and if they didn't.... there is a problem.  LOL ...  Look at where we live.

And OMGosh the fresh produce is beyond gorgeous....

More fresh sea food .....

Mr. Bubba (Kaedyn) and Mr. Xander (Noah) ...  riding in the cart....

Nathan got a shoulder ride with Daddy....

There is also a variety of baked goods, more so then most other chain grocery stores....

Not only was this place amazing to walk through, but there were products there that we've never seen anywhere else.  They take pride in their store, and it shows.

Definitely a THUMBS UP ...If I could marry a grocery store, this would be the one (LOL!!!)
