We, as a family, absolutely ADORE the Farmer's Market here.  ADORE it.  Especially for a family who loves to make their own foods, and not go out to eat much ... thanks to DB being a trained chef, his food is amazing and while mine sucks, he's totally made me into a food snob.  I love his homemade food and would much rather it then any night out to eat.  Although out to eat is nice once in awhile...

We are a family who not only likes, but thrives on, fresh fruits and veggies.  Raw or cooked!  And our kids would rather eat fresh fruits and veg than processed snacks.  So the Farmer's Market is our friend!

And we can't be at Evergreen Park without the boys wanting to play.  So we dropped off out goodies and we went to play.

THIS IS SOMETHING WE WOULD RECOMMEND AND WE WOULD DEFINITELY GO HERE AGAIN (and we do).

The Littles (Nathan & Kaedyn) got one scoop of rainbow sherbet

Noah got a scoop of chocolate and one of vanilla

I got a waffle cone with chocolate

Cal got a Cookie Dough and Chocolate 2 scooper ...

REVIEW ....

We were disappointed with the higher cost of the food staples they had,  but the  Ice Cream was REALLY good.. . They also do catering - I can't talk about that, never had their catering food.

As a store ...  The ONLY reason I want to do a thumbs down is because of the pricing.  It's a tiny store ... it's nice to have though if you live right there (like we did) and needed something - which happened to me a few times....

We had gotten the boys this really cool dragon kite, and finally had a day to try and fly it .... so we walked down to the park (we lived about a block away) ...  and tried to fly it with the older two while the younger two ran around to burn some energy ....

It was a great day at the park, and we definitely got the boys worn out.  The kite didn't get a good flight, just short little flights...

* Note *  This is no longer what the park playground looks like.  It is now set up with new equipment that is "all abilities accessible" and it's glorious!

We moved to Washington State in 2010 and we ended up living in a house on the water which was literally a block away from Evergreen Park. It was really nice being so close to the park.  Especially with little kids that needed to run off extra energy ...
